Tampa bay is well known for its championship sports teams, also known as, “CHAMPA BAY” and the “TAMPA BAY BADGERS”, is ready to be added to Tampa’s list of champions!

The Tampa Bay Badgers is a Professional Women’s Basketball team that is part of the WABA (Women’s American Basketball Associations), that is owned by Tampa native Rick Onderko, and alongside Rick is his exceptional coaching staff, led by Head Coach, Johnny Ingram, Assistant Coaches, Cary “Wink” Watts and Ke’Shawn Ingram.

In their Inaugural Season, The Badgers were extremely successful this season, being a new team, and finished their regular season with a 5-3 record and are now ready for the postseason.

The Tampa Bay Badgers will be hosting the first round of playoffs at their home court on Saturday, September 10th at Jennings Middle School in Seffner, Florida. Tickets are on sale at tampabaybadgers.com and are reasonably priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Rick Onderko has very high hopes for his team in the playoffs. Rick stated that “this is a great opportunity for the team, and I am very happy with their achievements over this past season. We have one of the best coaching staffs in the league and I know that they will guide our team to make sure they perform to the best of their ability. Our players are very motivated and will show how dedicated they are to not just the game of basketball, but also to this team by displaying a handful of skills that each player carries with them as they step onto the court.”
